To understand a mermaid...shorely you must become a mermaid!

But seariously, ever wonder what it takes to become a professional mermaid and passionate ocean activist?  What can we do to connect with and save our oceans?

And maybe more importantly...how do mermaids have sex and what's the deal with dolphin orgies? ✨🐬😅⠀

Well all of these topics came up as I dive into the incredible world of Hannah Fraser aka Hannah Mermaid at last season's Momentom Collective Artist Residency in Indonesia. We discuss the challenges of...

Anxiety is a very commen topic these days with so much uncertainty and fear happening in the world. But what if it's not always about us?
...does nature get anxiety?

This summer I'm reviving my reflections series Morning Maté to stir up some thoughts of the day and open up the concept this week on how we can tap the wisdom of nature to keep us from getting lost in our wandering monkey brains. Oh, and the importance of doggy eyebrows! Haha

Check out my thoughts on it below (during my final days managing Cas...

You Are Not Your Mind.

What a both terrifying AND liberating statement.

I am not my mind?
But this is who I am! I am me!

These are MY thoughts. MY beliefs. This is MY identity.
I’ve worked so hard to get to know and be…ME!

Why would I disassociate from the only definition

I have admission for who I am?

I understand myself. I create my thoughts. I feel my emotions.

I am conscious! My mind is conscious!

I am freely thinking and being right now.

In actuality, I define my reality

by those two things: thinking and b...

Hi friends,

sooooo it's been a while since I've reached out with my monthly newsletter...and how the world has changed since! Here's the roller coaster last 3.5 months managing Momentom Collective in a nutshell:

Malaysia: the 31st country I’ve had the privilege to travel in, has been a challenging one. On an extended visa run during our Momentom Indonesia Residency I did a decided to do a deep dive into Borneo to see some of the last orang utans in the wild, it’s pretty clear why they are being wiped out along with the majority of the rainforest and life on the World’s 3rd largest island: cheap palm oil. ⠀

Flying from Kota Kinabalu to Sandakan all you see are rows of palms trees or cleared rainforest (to plant more palm tr...
